Joining a club or society is one of the best possible ways to get more out of your time at UCB. We've got all sorts of ways to discover something that will become a part of who you are.
University College Birmingham has a range of sports and activity clubs, many of which compete on a national level with other colleges and universities around the country. Our clubs pride themselves on being dedicated, hard-working, enthusiastic, friendly and fun individuals that make up #TeamUCB. We cater for all abilities from the elite BUCS squads to beginners and social members looking to improve fitness and be a part of great clubs.
Joining a sports club gives you the opportunity to compete alongside 100,000 students and 4,000 teams in BUCS competitions, leagues and events - competition usually takes place on Wednesday afternoons.
BUCS is the national governing body for University sport in the UK. University College Birmingham joins almost 170 other UK higher education institutions to compete in BUCS across different sports.
