Tuesday 14th May 12:00 pm
37.00 h per week
Are you passionate about student representation? Are you driven by the opportunity to develop a brand new experience for students at University College Birmingham? We are looking for the right person to work with our elected student officers to support the development of an active, informed and empowered student voice at UCB Guild.
The Representation and Advocacy Coordinator will play a key role in the team, reporting directly to our Guild Manager and supporting our new Vice President in the delivery and development of representation and democracy.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to take up the new role of Representation and Advocacy Coordinator, driven by their values of student leadership and the power of a collective student voice.
University College Birmingham and its Guild of Students (Students' Union) serve over 7,000 students on vocational courses from FE to postgraduate level, mainly with a focus of leisure, tourism and service industries. It’s a great pool to draw on for the Guild.
The University is still building, literally, in the Jewellery quarter of Birmingham. It is an exciting institution with an impressive history and remarkable links to the city and industry. Developing students’ potential is at the heart of everything we do.
The Guild has recently established its independent charitable status, appointed a new Guild Manager, and is currently embarking on the first steps of delivering a future to match the ambitions of the University.
We want someone with the potential and ambition to match our own.
Please submit your application form to Sarah Kerton, Guild Manager, at email@example.com by Tuesday 14th May at midday.
