We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic person to take up the new role of Union Administrator, to undertake core administrative and financial duties for the Guild of Students, including operating staff payroll and financial procedures. The Union Administrator will have accountability for:

1. Accurate and timely bookkeeping
2. Effective office administration/logistics
3. Accurate and timely operation of payroll
4. Smooth functioning membership administration

University College Birmingham and its Guild of Students (Students' Union) serve over 7,000 students on vocational courses from FE to postgraduate level, mainly with a focus of leisure, tourism and service industries. It’s a great pool to draw on for the Guild.

The University is still building, literally, in the Jewellery quarter of Birmingham. It is an exciting institution with an impressive history and remarkable links to the city and industry. Developing students’ potential is at the heart of everything we do.

The Guild has recently established its independent charitable status, appointed a new Guild Manager, and is currently embarking on the first steps of delivering a future to match the ambitions of the University.
